March – A Whole Month Dedicated to Hearing Health

More Than One Day: Phonak’s Hearing Awareness Month 2026

Every year on March 3rd, the world marks World Hearing Day, established by the World Health Organization (WHO) to raise awareness about hearing loss prevention and promote ear and hearing care globally.

At Phonak, we believe hearing awareness deserves more than a single day.

That’s why throughout March 2026, we are running the Phonak Hearing Month Campaign, designed to:

  • Promote lifelong hearing prevention

  • Normalize life with hearing loss

  • Encourage a more positive, empathetic and inclusive view of hearing health

  • Empower communities to play an active role in awareness and prevention

Prevention Throughout Life

Hearing health is not something to consider only when problems arise. Prevention and early monitoring are essential at every stage of life. By encouraging regular hearing checks and open conversations about hearing, we help reduce stigma and improve quality of life.

Normalizing Hearing Loss

Living with hearing loss should not be associated with limitation. Through education and positive representation, we aim to:

  • Highlight successful individuals with hearing loss

  • Support confident hearing aid use

  • Promote inclusion in all contexts

The message is simple:

Hearing care is self-care. And awareness changes lives.

Throughout March, we are equipping centres with tools to spark conversations, share knowledge, and strengthen community engagement.

Together, we change lives.
